Family Zone

Why Your Kids Are Going to Love GroveFest 2026

Four days. Downtown Downers Grove. And this year, there is finally something at GroveFest built just for the little ones.

The Brand New Family Zone

If you have younger kids, this is your new best friend. GroveFest is launching a dedicated Family Zone this year with hands-on crafts and a photo booth, a great home base for families who want to do more than just ride rides all day.

Local favorites Indian Boundary YMCA and TAP Art+Craft Studio are running the craft activities daily from 1–5 PM, and the photo booth is open 1–9 PM all three days. It is a genuinely fun spot to land, create something, and capture a few memories along the way.

Unlimited Rides for One Low Price

For the kids who just want to ride everything twice, unlimited wristbands are the move. Snag them in advance for $32 and skip worrying about tickets adding up throughout the day.

Wristband Hours by Day:

• Thursday 6/25: 5–10 PM ($37 at gate)
• Friday 6/26: Noon–5 PM ($35 at gate)
• Saturday 6/27: Noon–5 PM ($35 at gate)
• Sunday 6/28: All day, Noon–9:30 PM ($37 at gate)

Kids must be 42″ or taller to ride solo, or 36″ and up with a ticketed adult.

A Weekend Worth Showing Up For

Toss in live music, festival food, and the kind of summer energy that is hard to find anywhere else, and you have a weekend that pretty much plans itself. GroveFest runs June 25–28 in downtown Downers Grove.
